Location

The farm is located on the shady side of the village of Planina pod Golico, below the Španov vrh ski resort. It starts at 1000 meters above sea level and extends up to 1300 meters above sea level. The Smolej farm is also known locally as the "Pri Uricu" farm. The owner of the farm, Miha Smolej, says: "Activity on the farm is the result of will, stubbornness, hard work and the fact that I perceive agriculture not only as an activity that brings profit, but as joy and the fulfillment of long-standing wishes."
